History and Archaeology Taster Day

Information and benefits of attending this event: This event is designed to give students a taste of what university-level study in the two subjects is like. Following a brief introduction, you will select from a menu of seminar sessions led by PhD students from the two departments. Later in the day you will also get to meet current History and Archaeology undergraduates and hear more about what it's like to study these subjects at university. Archaeology may be a new subject to many students - this day will give you an opportunity to find out more about this interesting discipline.

It may be possible to have reasonable travelling expenses reimbursed to attend an RO event/activity. You should check in advance with the university delivering the event to see if this is possible by contacting Denise Brooks at rosheffield@sheffield.ac.uk and to find out what you need to do.
