A-level Biology Day

Target year group: Year 12/13

Information: This is a fantastic opportunity for students to discover what it means to study one of the Biological Sciences at University (e.g. biochemistry, biomedical science, biology, zoology, neuroscience, ecology). The sessions are led by academics and current university students and are designed to inform students thinking about the options they have following a Biology A level. Activities will be spread across the different modes of study at University and the breadth of topics in the Biological Sciences. This popular and informative day will consist of course and careers advice, a lab tour and interactive sessions with current Life Sciences PhD students.  

Benefits of attending this event: The day will act as inspiration for those currently taking a Biology A-level and provide ideas on pathways for progressing this area of study.
