Date: 29-Jan-2020

Location: University of Sheffield campus

Time(s): 10am – 3.30 pm

Target year group: Y12 and Y13

Information and benefits of attending this event: This Taster day at the University of Sheffield gives A Level students considering studying Education at degree level an opportunity to discover the broad range of disciplines that Education, Culture and Childhood incorporates. You will have the chance to sample some of the module content and engage with the subject in a hands-on, interactive way. We are offering three very diverse sessions reflecting the programme, hopping from linguistics to psychology and digital literacies. During the Taster day you will get a flavour of what it’s like to be a student at the University of Sheffield and The School of Education and you will be able to meet current students on the programme, who will share their experiences. We think it will be a lively and interesting day and hope you would like to join us!

How to book a place: Complete the form on the event webpage to apply for a place. We would encourage you to mention RO in your statement at the end of the application form.
