Through a series of videos\, resources and events\, you will get access to: \n\nAdvice from admissions tutors about what to expect\nSeveral practice interview questions Weekly videos on the skills admissions tutors are looking for you to demonstrate Tips and tricks from current students about how to prepare answers and build your confidence\nThe opportunity to attend a live practice interview with current UoB students in your subject to hone your skills\n\nThis event is suitable for: Year 13 \nHow to book a place: You will work your way through 6 weekly modules on the Canvas course\, which will cover all the topics above in text and video format. You can work through this in your own time\, and revisit the pages as necessary throughout your preparation for an interview.: https://canvas.bham.ac.uk/courses/59575 \nTo give you the opportunity to practise answering some interview questions live and get feedback on your responses\, you can book to attend a live practice interview. In this session\, you will be split into small groups and a current student in the subject will ask you some interview questions. You will get to hear and learn from each other’s responses and get feedback on what you did well and how you can improve before the real thing. This is an excellent opportunity to build confidence\, try out your answers and prepare yourself for talking aloud about your experiences and tailoring them to the questions\, so we strongly recommend you come along. \nThere will be at least two live sessions to choose from per subject\, but spaces on each webinar are limited\, so places will be filled on a first-come\, first-served basis: https://app.geckoform.com/public/#/modern/FOEU0260ZvzX10Ic \nRecording your attendance on the RO student hub: please note that you must attend one of the live sessions in order to have this event count towards the RO event requirement. \nPlease email the the University of Birmingham at realisingopportunities@contacts.bham.ac.uk after you have attended the live event to confirm your attendance.
