SUMMARY:Accounting and Finance Virtual Talk: To Borrow\, or not to Borrow - That is the Question
DESCRIPTION:University hosting: University of Leicester \nLocation: Online \nEvent Information: When firms want to expand and grow\, they may need bigger factories\, more inventory\, and more staff. Where do they get the additional cash from to fund this? Firms can borrow the money or get it from investors. The choice made here\, whether or not to borrow the needed funds\, can determine the success or failure of the expansion. This session will consider the possible sources of additional finance and show that there is almost always the same answer to the question. \nThis event is suitable for: Year 12;Year 13 \nHow to book a place: You can book your FREE place on this webpage (https://data.heat.ac.uk/event/apply/le/accounting-and-finance-virtual-talk). You will then be sent the link the day before the session or on the day. If you have any problems or questions emails us at progression@le.ac.uk. \nRecording your attendance on the RO student hub: Please email progression@le.ac.uk after the event so that your attendance can be logged on the RO database. Please include your full name\, the date\, time and title of the event. Uploading attendance to the RO student hub after the event is a manual process so can take some time – please do not worry about this. \n  \n
