DESCRIPTION:Location: UCL Main Campus \nEvent information: Experience UCL is an exciting opportunity for prospective students to visit UCL and learn about life as an undergraduate. The scheme is targeted at students from certain priority groups that are currently underrepresented in higher education and at UCL. You will spend the day with two current UCL students who will show you around the UCL campus and share insights into their university experiences. There will also be an opportunity to seek advice from UCL staff on topics such as applying to university\, support services available and financial support. Each day will involve small groups of young people accompanied by two student ambassadors. Why take part? \n• Experience life as a UCL undergraduate student \n• Be taken on a tour of the UCL campus \n• Learn about the support services offered at UCL \n• Gain expert advice and guidance from UCL staff members \nThis event is suitable for: Year 12 and Year 13. \nHow to book a place: The deadline to submit an application is 10am on Monday 27 March 2023. \nApplicants must have achieved at least five A*-B/9-6 grades at GCSE and be currently studying a Level 3 qualification which would enable them to obtain a place on an undergraduate course at UCL. This includes A levels\, the IB\, a BTEC Extended Diploma or an Access to Higher Education Diploma. The scheme is targeted at students from certain priority groups that are currently underrepresented in higher education and at UCL. You will spend the day with two current UCL students who will show you around the UCL campus and share insights into their university experiences. There will also be an opportunity to seek advice from UCL staff on topics such as applying to university\, support services available and financial support. Each day will involve small groups of young people accompanied by two student ambassadors. Why take part? \n• Experience life as a UCL undergraduate student \n• Be taken on a tour of the UCL campus \n• Learn about the support services offered at UCL \n• Gain expert advice and guidance from UCL staff members \nThis event is suitable for: Year 12 and Year 13. \nHow to book a place: The deadline to submit an application is 10am on Monday 27 March 2023. \nApplicants must have achieved at least five A*-B/9-6 grades at GCSE and be currently studying a Level 3 qualification which would enable them to obtain a place on an undergraduate course at UCL. This includes A levels\, the IB\, a BTEC Extended Diploma or an Access to Higher Education Diploma.
