Event Information: This event invites you to engage in crucial conversations about the evolution of democracy in the digital era. As AI technologies rapidly advance, concerns about disinformation, misinformation, ‘deepfake’ videos, algorithmic bias, surveillance, and cyber threats are intensifying. Our panel of leading experts at the intersection of AI and democracy will shed light on these unprecedented challenges to democratic systems. They will also explore the implications of AI for elections and civic engagement, the potential for harnessing AI to safeguard democratic values, and the strategies needed to fortify democratic institutions against emerging threats.
