UCL Sutton Trust Summer School: Statistics

Location: Residential on UCL Bloomsbury Campus

Event Information: *Deadline: midday on Thursday 7 March 2024*.

The digital revolution has accelerated the amount of data generated every day to unprecedented levels. This creates an increasing need for us to develop skills to understand and extract value from this sea of data. Statistics provides the necessary tools to extract meaningful information from the data to better understand the world around us and to help us make informed decisions. The UCL Statistics Summer School is aimed at providing you with a unique opportunity to be involved in a wide range of activities designed to give you a taste of student life in the department of Statistical Science at UCL. You will be immersed in a real-world problem that demonstrates a clear link between theoretical knowledge and how it can be applied in everyday life.

This event is suitable for: Year 12.
