Event Information: Open days are a great way to learn more about your course, meet academics and chat to students. They also help you to get a feel for the place, so that you can decide whether life as a Nottingham student is right for you.

How to book a place: Book your place on an Open Day on the University of Nottingham website. Make sure that you indicate your participation in the Realising Opportunities programme when you complete the booking form – there is a field for you to tick and this is how we will communicate special instructions to you and identify your attendance.

All subject areas except Veterinary Medicine and Biosciences will be represented at the University Park and Jubilee Campus Open Days. For those two areas, book a date at the Sutton Bonington Campus.

Recording your attendance on the RO student hub: In addition to ticking that you are an RO participant on the Open Day booking form, make sure that you register your attendance (via scanning the QR code that you will receive in advance) at one of the many registration points on campus on the day.

Please let us know of your event attendance by sending your full name, event title, date and venue to realising-opportunities@nottingham.ac.uk so that we can update your records.  Uploading attendance to the RO student hub after the event is a manual process so can take some time – please do not worry about this.

Cohort 16 RO Travel Scheme: To apply for the RO Travel Scheme, please fill in this form. You must complete all sections of the RO Travel Scheme form at least 3 weeks in advance of the Open Day. You must also book onto the Open Day before submitting a Travel Scheme request form. Remember, the RO Travel Scheme is only available for one return journey for you and a guest.
