Event Information: This is a free residential summer school for students in year 12/first-year college (or equivalent in Northern Ireland and Scotland), that is taking place over four days between Tuesday 19th July – Friday 22nd July 2022.
You can join us and get all the information you need to:
-Make an informed decision about whether or not you want to go to university.
-Try out subjects you might want to study.
-Experience student life, live in Newcastle University accommodation.
-Explore the city of Newcastle and feel out whether it’s a good fit for you.
-Meet new people, get to know current students, and other year 12 students from around the UK.
During the summer school, there will be a wide range of academic subject taster sessions, workshops, and talks for you to experience. Our aim is to give you the motivation to achieve your goals and the confidence to apply to university.
