Event information: Get ahead on your journey to higher education with Newcastle University. Apply for our in-person event for Year 12 (or equivalent) students now. Get ahead is for year 12 (or equivalent) students. It is your opportunity to learn some new skills, meet some current students, and explore campus. Visit us on April 14th and meet current Students, go on a campus tour, take part in a academic skills session and attend a subject taster session. Each 1 hour evening session is a new opportunity to learn a new skill, find out more information about University, ask questions and see our campus.

RO Travel Scheme: Newcastle University will reimburse up to £10 of travel cost to come to out on-campus event on April 14th for RO students. Information on how to claim this reimbursement will be sent in an email to all attendees in advance of the event.

Recording your attendance on the RO student hub: Please email Sam Mead at realising.opportunities@ncl.ac.uk to confirm your attendance after the event. Please include your full name, RO ID number, the date/time and title of the event.

Please note that uploading attendance to the RO student hub after the event is a manual process so can take some time – please do not worry about this.
