Life Sciences PhD Research Talks

Location: Online

Event Information: We are excited to confirm we arranged for another evening of online PhD research talks, this time from students in the Life Sciences field. This will be on Wednesday 17th May, 5.30pm – 7.15pm (approximately). We will have three talks: – Epidemiology: Can we use insects to understand ageing in humans? – Genetics: The relationship between biological age and cardiovascular diseases – Neuroscience: Unlocking the mystery of schizophrenia by exploring kynurenine dysmetabolism.

This event is suitable for: Year 12 and Year 13.

Recording your attendance on the RO student hub: If you attend all three talks, and email in a short summary to progression@leicester.ac.uk, including which talk was your favourite and why, this will count as an event.
