Event Information: This masterclass introduces you to the epigrams of the Greek Anthology, a vast collection of short poems that served as the social media of the ancient world. By learning about and working with these Greek epigrams, you’ll expand your understanding of the ancient world and have fun doing it! The class is led by Dr Gideon Nisbet, who has translatedepigrams from the Greek Anthology for Oxford University Press World’s Classics. The content is relevant to GCSE components on Myth and Religion and Women in the Ancient World, as well as A-level components on Greek Religion and Love and Relationships.
