Personal Statement Workshop
Location: UCL Bloomsbury Campus
Event Information: *Deadline: Friday 10 May 2024 at 11:59pm*.
Personal statements are an important aspect of the UCAS application process. Writing a personal statement is your chance to show your enthusiasm for studying a subject and give admissions tutors a sense of who you are as an individual. These sessions will give you an opportunity to understand how to structure and write your personal statement. You will also receive guidance from current UCL students who have been through the application process. If you attend an in-person workshop, you will also get a guided tour of the UCL campus and experience what it is like studying at a university in the heart of London.
This event is suitable for: Year 12.
How to book a place:
Eligibility: Personal Statement Workshops are open to students who are currently in Year 12 and are studying at a state school or college in the UK.
Participants for the in-person sessions will be selected using the shortlisting criteria found on the Who we work with webpage to prioritise young people from the least represented groups. You will be awarded points based on the number of criteria that you meet. Applicants with the highest numbers of points will be offered the places available on the programme.
