RO National Student Conference 2025
At the start of the Realising Opportunities (RO) programme, all of the students in Cohort 16 will attend the Virtual National Student Conference (NSC). RO students will join the event on Saturday 8 March via the NSC platform.
The NSC is an important event in the RO calendar that RO students from across the country attend. You will attend interactive sessions and will have the opportunity to talk to current students and staff from the RO Partner universities. You can read the student NSC Code of Conduct here.
Suitable devices to use: If you can, join the event via a laptop or PC, as this will give you the best experience. Please use Google Chrome for the best experience. You can join via mobile devices using the mobile URL, but the smaller screen size will give you a slightly different experience.
You will not be required to have your camera or microphone on at any time during the virtual NSC and all communication will take place via text-based chat.
Accessing the event: You will receive an email from noreply@ivent-pro.com inviting you to set a password for your NSC platform account. (Please note, this is separate from your RO student hub account.) You will then use these login details to access the NSC on Saturday 8 March. If you haven’t received anything in your inbox yet, please check your spam or junk email folders or request a new password at this link by selecting ‘Forgotten password’.
For students who have already set their password for the NSC platform please login here: https://ro.ivent-pro.com. If you can’t remember your password, click the ‘Forgotten password’ option. Please ensure that the email address you are using is the same one that you use to access the RO student hub and it does not contain any additional spaces.
For guidance on how to navigate the NSC platform, please watch the platform video tour here.
Risk assessment:
The RO Central Team will communicate with students by email to tell them everything they need to know about the virtual NSC.
