Spring into STEM 2.0: Making a difference through engineering. Topic: Everyday Issues, Affordable Solutions: from Clean Air to Quality of Life

Event Information: At UCL, our STEM research uncovers the complexities of how we live and how we shape what the future might look like. Each evening of Spring Into STEM 2.0 will feature two TED-style talks by experts, offering interdisciplinary perspectives on the hottest topics in STEM. Our academic hosts will highlight and share their cutting edge knowledge in inspirational formats, perfect for inquisitive young minds. All sessions will be underpinned by one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). What role does engineering play in everyday issues, from our health and wellbeing to clean energy? How can we develop affordable solutions? At this session, you’ll gain expert insight into how engineering is crucial to the very air we breathe and what it takes to make energy sustainable.
