Event Information: This event will cover: The different types of work opportunities available to you, and how to find them; How to write a CV and cover letter and what to write if you don’t have any or much work experience; How to target your application to a job description and match skills you already have to it and email etiquette.

This event is suitable for: Year 12

How to book a place: Email rops@leeds.ac.uk and if space is available we will confirm a place via email. Students must be taking part in the RO scheme and will be able to claim travel expenses for public transport on the day. Please keep all receipts and tickets as proof.

Recording your attendance on the RO student hub: Please email rops@leeds.ac.uk after the event so that your attendance can be logged on the RO database. Please include your full name, the date, time and title of the event. Uploading attendance to the RO student hub after the event is a manual process so can take some time – please do not worry about this.
