Event Information: This full day event will introduce you to life as a healthcare student, and the complexities of applying to a competitive course like Dentistry & Medicine. During the day, you will hear from our Health Sciences Outreach Team, who will give you more information about the admissions process, and what universities look for in their applicants. You will also hear from current students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health, who will talk to you about their journey to Leeds, and give you a taste of life as a student studying a healthcare profession. This is part of a three-part series of events. Part 2, a Subject Workshop (Medicine and Dentistry) and Preparing for Admissions Tests workshop (Dentistry & Medicine only) will take place over Easter, with Part 3, Preparing for Interviews, taking place during the Summer School. Suitable for: Students studying both Biology and Chemistry at A Level, with the academic potential and motivation to study Medicine / Dentistry.
