Event information: Open Days are a great opportunity to explore our campus and for you to speak to current students and academic staff to find out what really happens when you join our University community. Birmingham is a green and spacious campus university just minutes from the hustle and bustle of the UK’s second city, making it a prime location for you to spend your life as a student.

At our Open Days there are a number of activities to choose from. The programme for each event will be released online at least a week beforehand, giving you the chance to book the sessions that suit you using your personal open day RSVP link. Here is the list of Open Days due to take place at the University of Birmingham:

Watch a range of subject talks all about the courses that we offer at Birmingham Explore campus with a campus tour led by one of our expert student ambassadors Find out more about our accommodation with an accommodation village tour, with student ambassadors and staff on hand to answer your questions Get all of your questions answered about the courses you’re interested in through chatting to our academics and students, with some subjects also offering departmental facility tours.* We’ll also have a number of food outlets available for you to grab something to eat, as well as other activities to help you understand what life is like on campus as a student at the University of Birmingham.

There are check-in registration booths located across campus and when you arrive you’ll be given a map of campus to help you navigate your way around. Staff and students will be based at all of the key entry points to campus and they’ll all be in bright green t-shirts – you can’t miss them! Speak to any of our staff and students on the day if there are particular places on campus that you’d like to see, and we’ll point you in the right direction and help you to plan your day.

*Please note that some subjects will have limited availability for some activities at our open day events

How to book a place: Bookings for the summer events will open in early March with remaining dates opening at a later stage. To register your interest please fill out this form and we will be in touch when bookings open for each of the days.
