STEM Foundation Year Talk

Location: Online

Event Information: If you have a talent for STEM but need to improve your entry requirements in mathematics and science, our Foundation Year programme is an ideal starting point. We prepare you for degree-level study in a supportive learning environment. This specially-supported degree programme enhances your ability in maths, physics and chemistry, with the aim to bring you up to the entry standard. It’s taught by academics that also teach on undergraduate degrees and takes the essential elements from the A level syllabus, which is then applied to interdisciplinary lab work and degree-specific group and individual projects. In this talk, you will hear from Harriet Drouin who will be discussing the routes on offer here at the University of Sheffield, along with current students who have studied the course themselves. Students tell us that this course is fundamental in their transition to becoming engineers and scientists of the future. Come and find out if this course is the right fit for you.

This event is suitable for: Year 12 and Year 13.
