UCAS and Personal Statements

Event Information:You will hear from colleagues in our central Admissions team about the UCAS system, how it works, key dates and other important information about submitting your application. We will also talk to you about personal statements, how to get started, what to include, what admissions tutors are looking for, as well as other key points. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions to our guest speakers, as well as current undergraduate students at Sheffield who have been through the process.
This event is suitable for: Year 13.
How to book a place: The session is being hosted on our Blackboard platform and can be accessed via this link. Please join using your first name, first initial of your surname and the programme you are on (e.g. Damon G – Realising Opportunities)
Recording your attendance on the RO student hub: Please email rosheffield@sheffield.ac.uk after the event so that your attendance can be logged on the RO database. Please include your full name, the date, time and title of the event.
Please note that uploading attendance to the RO student hub after the event is a manual process so can take some time – please do not worry about this.
