Event Information:  Sustainable fashion workshop covering topics on the fashion and textile industry, sustainable fashion, where our clothes come from and where our clothes go. This workshop is designed to increase your awareness in broader topics of sustainability to those taught at school giving you a hands-on experience into key issues in the textile industry. After an introduction to the fashion industry and issues surrounding sustainability within the industry have been addressed you will be asked to critically evaluate the sustainability plans of major fashion retailers and design your own environmentally conscious business model for a company in the fashion industry.

This event is suitable for: Year 12 and Year 13

How to book a place: Email rops@leeds.ac.uk and if space is available we will confirm a place via email. Students must be taking part in the RO scheme and will be able to claim travel expenses for public transport on the day. Please keep all receipts and tickets as proof.

Recording your attendance on the RO student hub: Please email rops@leeds.ac.uk after the event so that your attendance can be logged on the RO database. Please include your full name, the date, time and title of the event. Uploading attendance to the RO student hub after the event is a manual process so can take some time – please do not worry about this.
